Today I ate eggs and cheese for breakfast. They were kind of gluey, and I didn't like the way they tasted, but I ate the whole thing. 

Recently a guy jumped off the roof of my apartment building, and now whenever I look out the window I wonder where his body landed.

Today I went to the park with my boyfriend, and we lay in the grass. The sun was caught behind a cloud, but it was so warm. On our way back, we saw a dead rat on the sidewalk. It was kind of decomposed and its intestines were coming out, I think. It was super disgusting. I didn't notice it at first, but he pointed it out, and then felt bad for pointing it out. I'm not a very observant person. I feel like other people are always seeing things I'm not.

Today I talked on the phone with my brother about our childhood. We were discussing the time our mom tripped and threw the baby at the time across the room, where he landed on his head on the marble floor. He was fine! but recalling the story made us laugh so hard for some reason. I literally was crying, I was laughing so hard. The only other people who understand your childhood, to an extent, are your siblings. They were there when in happened. They speak the language of your youth.
